A resident-led survey supported by Thurrock Community Empowerment Network and Seabrook Rise Community House and funded by the Take Part Pathfinder initiative.

The Grays Community Mapping project was delivered through the Take Part in Thurrock Initiative working in partnership with local residents of Grays, Thurrock.

The aim of the project was to empower the local residents through peer-led conversations to have their say about their local area. The survey focused on the resident’s perceptions of the local community, community participation and the provision of local services. Although informal, the surveys were delivered through a structured format and resulted in 180 completed surveys which were captured by 12 individuals from the Grays area.
