A community park in Stanford-le-hope has joined forces with local companies Dogtopia Pet Services and Alicia’s Obedience Dog Training School to deliver the ever popular Dogtopia Show event. Hardie Park will host the event on Saturday 16th June between 11am and 4pm. The event is free for all to attend and is sure to be a fun day out for those who love their four legged, furry friends.

Cath Lumley owner of Dogtopia Pet Services said, ‘ This is the second event of its kind in Thurrock and this year we are looking forward to raising funds for 3 great causes, Noah’s Big Charity, Essex Retired Police Dogs and of course, our host’s fabulous charity, Friends of Hardie Park. The day will be filled with have-a-go activities and fun classes for those with paws and their owners. You will be able to learn about pet first aid and can purchase dog related products and services from local businesses.

Walking your dogs to the event is advised but parking has been arranged with Hassenbrook Academy adjacent to the park with a donation of £3 for the whole day. A range of food, refreshments and ice-cream will be available.

Alicia Bratby from Alicia’s Obedience Dog Training said, ‘Come on down to the park for a fabulous family friendly, fun day out. We will be on hand to provide top tips and advice on dog training and behaviour with the comfort of Hardie Park’s cafe and toilet facilities on site.’
