KEY PURPOSE OF JOB
Giving for Thurrock is a community fund that connects businesses, raises funds and creates opportunities for people living in Thurrock. An opportunity has arisen for an apprentice to join Thurrock CVS supporting Giving for Thurrock. The role will cover a variety of tasks including administration, project management, and event planning and community engagement.


KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
We’re looking for a Community Engagement and Events Apprentice to join the team at Thurrock CVS (Community Voluntary Services).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain a qualification, learn a host of new skills and have lots of fun along the way, what’s not to like?

You’ll be working across a small team within an exciting project that makes a positive impact to the communities of Thurrock.

There’s no doubt about it, this is a varied role, with methodical times of planning as well as events which can go at quiet a pace. You therefore need to have good organisation skills as well as being creative with bags of enthusiasm. Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a wider team is essential.
