Kristina started with Thurrock CVS in August 2011 and came with over 20 years’ experience of working within the Third Sector, providing leadership in the delivery of services/activities to Older People, Mental Health/Learning Disabilities and worked with government on the DDA Act 1995 and the inclusion of children with disabilities into mainstream schools and the delivery of infrastructure support to assist organisations to effectively deliver high quality service delivery.

Kristina’s provides strong, inspirational executive leadership for the voluntary sector in Thurrock including:

  • Supporting the Board of Trustees with strategic direction of the organisations and the delivery the organisations operational plan.
  • Established networks, meetings, support and advocacy to VCFSE organisations
  • Represented the views of VCFSE on the Health and Wellbeing board, Health and Social Care Engagement group, Joint Strategic Forum.
  • Delivered high quality statutory and contractual responsibilities.
  • Actively built positive relationships across all stakeholder groups, and maintained these when providing challenge to statutory organisations. Developed and managed a wide range of external relationships and partnerships and acted as an advocate with all sectors
  • Supported, valued and championed the contribution of the Thurrock’s VCFSE.
  • Working closely with neighbouring CVS organisations to represent the views of Thurrock’s VCFSE across Essex
  • Developing and implementing projects that support the citizens of Thurrock to be able to find solutions to the problems/issues they face.
