The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex wants your views on what the priorities for fire and rescue services in the county should be.

Roger Hirst and Essex County Fire and Rescue Service are working together to produce Essex’s first Fire and Rescue Plan – a strategic document that will set out the vision and priorities for the delivery of fire and rescue services in Essex. The plan will run from 2019 to 2024 and will focus on what the people of Essex want its fire and rescue service to deliver for their communities.

Workshop 2 – 04 July 2018

Raise community confidence in the services we deliver by effective and efficient delivery of prevention, protection and response activities.

The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex want the public to be confident in what they do and how it delivers services. They want to hear from the public about what they need and shape services to fit. This priority will look at how they can build confidence in what they deliver and connect even better with the communities they serve.

Be transparent, open and accessible, enabling local communities to hold us to account for our performance and the services we provide.

As a public service The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner want to make it easy for the public to know what the Service is doing and how it is performing. They want the Service to be open and accountable and this priority will look at how we can achieve this and make it easy for the public to be informed and empowered to hold the Service to account.
